group in Grand Rapids, MI!
The Grand River Squares have been around since 1988 and have been an active part of West Michigan’s LGBT community. We are a diverse casual club that focuses on learning and dancing contemporary western square dancing from beginning through advanced levels. If memories of square dancing take you back to grade school, you really need to come see how different it is now.
Besides weekly lessons, we have regular dances and opportunities to dance throughout North America with more than 50 other open and accepting member clubs of the IAGSDC®.
We invite you to come investigate the possibilities at either of our open houses before classes begin. And if by chance you’ve square danced in the past, we’d love to have you come join in at whatever level you dance.

We're looking for YOU! Dancing begins at 7:00pm. You don't need a partner to dance; we'll find one for you. Come on down and enjoy the fun!
